Product Development and Manufacturing

Our first product is a wearable voice monitoring device we call Melovox.  We developed the Melovox device and associated phone app to gently remind wearers when their voice falls outside a configurable range.  We believe this discrete product, which appears to be a necklace or lapel pin, will positively impact the lives of children and adults on the autism spectrum who are unaware of how loud they speak by helping them speak at a socially appropriate volume.  The Melovox device is also expected to help teachers prevent vocal strain and help deaf speakers know if they are speaking too loudly or too softly.  The Melovox device is also expected to offer benefits in other applications including call centers where voice volume must be regulated and public speaking or live theater performances where voice projection is required.
